Short Information :       The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Result 2026 on 13th May 2026. Over 17.80 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 12 board exams 2026, which were conducted from February to March 2026. The overall pass percentage stands at 85.20%, with girls outperforming boys once again. Students who appeared for the examination can now check their CBSE 12th Result 2026 online using their Roll Number, School Code, Admit Card ID, and Date of Birth at the official websites cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, DigiLocker app, and UMANG app.

  • The result published online is provisional and for immediate reference only.
  • Original marksheets will be issued by CBSE through respective schools.
  • Students scoring less than 33% in any one subject (out of 5 main subjects) will be placed in compartment.
  • Students who fail in 2 or more subjects will have to repeat the year (Essential Repeat).
  • CBSE has discontinued awarding First, Second, or Third Division to discourage unhealthy competition.
  • Merit certificates will be issued to top 0.1% of students in each subject.
  • Students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for verification, photocopy of answer sheets, and revaluation.
  • The Compartment / Improvement Exam will be held on 15th July 2026 in a single day.
