Selection Process
  • Tier-I CBT (Common for all posts) : Screening test – Computer Based Test with 100 questions (120 minutes) covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and Technical subjects. Normalization applied if multiple shifts. Qualifying in nature for shortlisting to next stage.
  • Tier-II CBT (for STA-B only) : Trade/Discipline specific selection test. Marks considered for final merit. Descriptive or objective as per notification.
  • Trade Test / Skill Test (for Tech-A only) : Qualifying in nature. Practical test in relevant trade to assess hands-on skills.
  • Document Verification : Verification of original certificates, educational qualifications, category certificates, age proof, etc. Mandatory for final selection.
  • Medical Examination : Candidates must be medically fit as per DRDO standards. Conducted after document verification.
  • Final Merit List : Based on Tier-I & Tier-II marks (where applicable), subject to qualifying trade test, document verification, and medical fitness. No interview conducted.
