Selection Process

The selection process for AFCAT 1/2026 includes no written exam for NCC Special Entry candidates. For others, it is based on the online AFCAT Exam (100 questions, 300 marks, 2 hours). Qualified candidates proceed to AFSB Testing (Stage I: Intelligence Test, Picture Perception; Stage II: Psychological Tests, Group Tests, Interview). For Flying Branch, CPSS is mandatory. Final selection involves Medical Examination and Merit List based on AFCAT marks + AFSB performance. Tie-breaking criteria: Higher AFCAT marks, older age, alphabetical order. The process ensures only fit candidates are selected for commissioning.

Important Instructions-AFCAT 1/2026 Result
