Agniveer (SSR) – Senior Secondary Recruit 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics from recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate marks. OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering with 50% marks. OR 2-year Vocational Course with Physics & Maths with 50% marks. Unmarried male/female candidates.
Agniveer (MR) – Matric Recruit (Chef, Steward, Hygienist etc.) Matriculation (Class 10) pass from recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Unmarried male/female candidates.

Selection Process

  • Stage I – Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET): Computer-based online exam
  • Exam pattern: 50 objective type questions, 1 mark each, total 50 marks
  • Exam duration: 30 minutes
  • Language: Bilingual (Hindi & English except English section)
  • Shortlisting: Merit-based shortlisting for Stage II as per vacancies and batch
  • Stage II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written examination (if applicable), Recruitment Medical Examination
  • PFT includes: 1.6 km run in prescribed time, push-ups, squats, etc.
  • Medical standards: As per Indian Navy rules (no relaxation in physical/medical criteria)
  • Final Merit List: Prepared based on performance in all stages and vacancies available
