Short Information :
The CBSE KVS / NVS Teaching & Non-Teaching Post Result 2026 for Tier-1 examination has been officially declared on 28 February 2026. Candidates who appeared in the Tier-1 exam conducted on 10th & 11th January 2026 can now check their scores, qualifying status, and shortlisting for Tier-2 examination.This recruitment drive (Advt No. 01/2025) is one of the biggest teaching and non-teaching opportunities in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). A total of 15,762 vacancies are being filled across PRT, TGT, PGT, Principal, Vice Principal, and various non-teaching posts.

Important Dates Application Fees
  • Notification Release Date: 13 November 2025
  • Online Application Start Date: 14 November 2025
  • Last Date to Apply Online: 11 December 2025 (extended)

  • Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice Principal: ₹2,300 (exam fee) + ₹500 (processing fee)
  • PGT, TGT, PRT, Librarian, AO, Finance Officer, Assistant Engineer, ASO, Junior Translator: ₹1,500 + ₹500
  • Stenographer, Senior/Junior Secretariat Assistant, Lab Attendant, MTS: ₹1,200 + ₹500

Important Note:

  • SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the examination fee (only ₹500 processing fee applicable).
  • GST is extra as applicable.
  • Fee once paid is non-refundable.
  • Candidates applying for both KVS and NVS (same post) had to pay fee for only one post.

Age Limit 

  • Minimum Age: 18 years for all posts
  • Maximum Age:
    • Assistant Commissioner (KVS): 50 years
    • Principal: 50 years
    • Vice Principal: 45 years
    • PGTs: 40 years
    • TGTs, Librarian, Special Educator: 35 years
    • PRTs: 30 years
    • Most Non-Teaching Posts (AO, ASO, etc.): 27–35 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC-NCL: 3 years
  • Women (for teaching posts): Up to 10 years
  • PwBD: Additional 5–15 years (depending on category)
  • Ex-Servicemen & KVS/NVS employees: As per rules

  • PGT: Post Graduation in relevant subject + B.Ed
  • Principal/Vice Principal: Master’s + B.Ed + relevant experience
  • Non-Teaching: Graduation/Post Graduation + required experience/computer proficiency (varies by post)

All posts require proficiency in Hindi and English.

Selection Process

The recruitment follows a transparent multi-stage process:

  1. Tier-1 Exam (Qualifying) – OMR based (already conducted)
  2. Tier-2 Exam – Subject-specific + Descriptive (27–31 March 2026)
  3. Skill Test / Interview (for certain posts)
  4. Document Verification
  5. Medical Examination

Final merit is prepared on the basis of Tier-2 performance (85%) + Interview (15%) where applicable.

  4. Click on “View Score & Shortlisting Status”
