Science Subjects:
- 10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR 3 Years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation / IT) with 50% marks.
- OR 2 Years Vocational Course with Non-Vocational Subjects (Physics & Math) with 50% marks.
Other Than Science Subjects:
- 10+2 Intermediate in any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR 2 Years Vocational Course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Note: Height for Male candidates: 152.5 cms | Height for Female candidates: 152 cms.

Selection Process-Indian Airforce Agniveervayu 01/2027

The selection process for Indian Airforce Agniveervayu 01/2027 Recruitment 2026 will be completed in the following phases:
Phase-I: Online Written Examination
- Science Subjects: 60 Minutes – English, Physics, Mathematics (10+2 CBSE Syllabus)
- Other Than Science Subjects: 45 Minutes – English and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA)
- Both (Science & Other Than Science): 85 Minutes – Physics, Mathematics, English and RAGA
- Marking Pattern: +1 mark for correct answer, 0 for unattempted, -0.25 for wrong answer
- Marks will be normalized to account for variation in difficulty levels across different sessions
Phase-II: Testing at Airmen Selection Centre (ASC)
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Running, Push-ups, Sit-ups, and other physical endurance tests
- Adaptability Test-I: Objective type written test to assess suitability for employment in IAF involving varied geographic terrain, weather, and operational conditions
- Adaptability Test-II: To select candidates who can adapt to the environment of Indian Air Force and military way of life
- Document Verification
Phase-III: Medical Examination
- Conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards
- Baseline investigations include Blood tests, Urine tests, X-Ray, ECG, USG (for females), etc.
- Appeal Medical Board available for candidates declared medically unfit (Fee: Rs. 40/-)
Final Selection: Based on state-wise merit, medical fitness, availability of vacancies, and meeting all eligibility criteria
